If so, you came to the right place - especially since I'll show you where you can get thirty days of it for free!

When I quit smoking I recall that there were three separate elements involved with breaking the cycle that I had to overcome.

The obvious first element which I needed to overcome was pretty obvious, in which I imagine every other smoker encounters: Nicotine addiction. The craving begins, then things get real uncomfortable real quick for awhile, and sometimes irritability resulted due to the self denial of cigarettes. Anyone else who has tried to stop can relate I'm sure.

The second element that I needed to overcome was keeping my mouth busy. My mouth seemed accustomed to all of the extra attention that resulted from smoking - so when you quit it is always good to chew on something to keep your mouth busy, and that is one of the advantages to using quit smoking using gum. I have never tried using tablets or vitamins, so I can't really comment on how effective they work, although a good friend of mine had used tablets with incredible reduced nicotine cravings - he even sometimes completely forgot about cigarettes in particular crave triggering situations when he would always normally have a nicotine fit in the past.

The third element which I needed to rise above was something I didn't realize about myself, yet may not be something that applies to you. I realized that I had some insecurity and used smoking to hide from people as strange as it sounds. I'm not saying that is a challenge that applies to you - but for whatever reason it was a personal struggle that I had to overcome. I am kind of a shy person, so whenever I felt uncomfortable around others, smoking would allow me to cover a significant portion of my face by puffing up, and bringing the cigarette to my mouth - my hand was covering part of my face which helped me to kind of hide behind it a little. Kind of embarrassing, but I am much more confident now & with a life free of cigarettes...

A few months after I quit smoking it became evident to me that I had finally quit smoking when I was on break at work with some of my colleagues. I was out with everyone else when it dawned on me that I was the only one in the group who wasn't smoking, and I looked down at my own hand and low and behold - I was drinking a soda instead (it wasn't pre-meditated).

The first week is the hardest, the second week is still difficult, but not quite as bad, the third week became easier for me, and gradually became even less difficult by the end of the forth week. I believe if a person can go four weeks without smoking they can quit entirely as temptation slowly lessens from there on. Don't get me wrong in the first year I still got caught off guard once in a while by a temptation, but the crave was far less than what it was initially and isn't something that my mind was dwelling on for more than a brief moment.

I quit - and so can you!
